She should have come in season by now. If she were mine I would have her examined/scanned by a vet to see if she has a problem. Fingers crossed.

My cocker is nearly 15 months and has just come into season, it is her first one! maybe they are just later than other dogs.
Often the bitch may have a season when she's quite young that is so light you can miss it.If this is the case then u are actually waiting for her second season. My ESS all vary, one, comes into season every 6 months almost to the day another didn't have a season until she was 15months and nothing since so it varies, but if u are worried then take her to the vet and get her sorted

We have had Cocker bitches come in season as late as 20 months & often they are around the 15-18 month mark so I wouldn't worry too much. It seems to depend on the breeding too - solid Cockers often have their first season early at around 7 months whereas particolours can be much later. Maybe your Springer comes from a family line where the bitches are known to be quite late for their first season.

I bought my mother in law a spaniel and it had its first season
at 4 months old. We were very shocked as we did not expect it so
early. Some people told me that she must have some hormonal
problems, but she is fine, she just regulated herself to every
six months and at two years of age, just had her first litter,
of 10 healthy puppies, with no problems what so ever.
My mother in law was thrilled.

I don't know about first seasons but when can we expect the last one? My 14 year old Greyhound has just come in!! I really didn't expect a season from her this year. She is looking and feeling her age now :( and I bet she could have done without this! Bet she'll come back as a dog next time :)
Hi Jackie
Bitches go on having seasons as long as they live - no menopause for them
