Hi! We're not dog dealers, just an information forum. :) If you contact the breed clubs listed at the bottom of the Breed Standard you can be given information on reputable breeders, and should be able to tell you the average price you'll need to pay.

Beagles are very costly to buy most are around the £1000 mark if you get one a lot cheaper I really would be asking why.  If you cant afford a puppy why not contact one of the beagle rescue organisations.  They are a lovely breed and I wouldnt swap mine for the world.

You should really expect to pay at least 800 pounds from a reputable breeder, there are some (not so reputable people)breeding beagles  and charging the same prices-please make sure you get your beagle from a good breeder, which will ensure you get a healthy, happy sound example of the breed (with lots of advice and aftercare for as long as you need it)It really is worth saving up that extra few hundred pounds and setting some aside for things such as insurance or as suggested beagle welfare will give you lots of advice and help if you feel in a position to rehome an older hound, the dogs are well assessed,as are the families they are rehomed with(there can be many advantages in getting a rehome hound),The beagle association is also a very helpful organisation with a list of reputable breeders and those with waiting lists (expect to be thoroughly vetted) i find them very friendly and always willing to help you with any enquiries or questions, there is also alot of information on these sites about the beagle and it's characteristics(you can never do too much research,i spent two years saving ang researching the breed before getting my baby, and it was well worth it)Good luck with your search.

I would agree with all the others, you need to get from a reputable breeder. Our first beagle was £400 (not reputable, long story) and we spent a further £400 in vets bills and the poor might was dead within a week. I would advise beagle welfare also.
