Are there any respectable breeders of Siberian Huskies in the North West of England (preferably around Lancashire or Merseyside) i would like to get my daughter a puppy for her birthday.

Most good breeders won't sell a puppy as a gift - why not choose a breeder together after researching the breed - maybe meeting a few breeders and give her an IOU.

There is a big show in Blackpool next month - you'd be able to meet lots of husky breeders there.

Huskies are NOT an easy dog as a pet - one would need to be very sure and dedicated to having one :)

First of all contact the breed club here

(link)http://www.siberianhuskyclub.com(/link)

they will be able to advise you of the good and bad points about Sibe owning, BusyDoggs is right, they are a difficult breed to own, with many unique characteristics. The club will help you to find a good breeder, which may or may not be in your area, you may have to travel for a good pup. Please don't go to the legion of Sibe puppy farmers out there, just to get a pup quickly. You will probably regret it in the long run.
