I have a 3 year old whippet bitch, she is very stiff in her hind quarters, especially after exercise. Over the last 14 months she has been x-rayed, had an MRI scan, been on steroids, inflammatory tablets, now she is on 'well being' tablets. I am at my wits end, she has just been away for 11 days to the vet hospital for the second time, but they can't find anything wrong. I find the condition very distressing as she cries sometimes with the pain.(I failed to mention that when she goes to the vets she doesn't have the problem)
The vet thinks she may need to see a therapist as she doesn't really have a problem, or she is playing up to me. The other alternatives are re-home her or put up with it.
Any advice would be much appreciated as I don't know where else to turn.
        Yours hopefully
