As I dont have a show for a couple of weeks I thought I would give my boys a bath tonight.  Now last time I bathed Fagan he went a bit fluffy and im wondering it this is because I blow dried him - well he was cold :o

So how should I dry them? they are Irish Setters and Alf has a really thick coat, should I just wrap them in towels and leave them or is blow drying ok really (it goes down eventually ;) )

With my setters, they have dressing gowns to dry in!  The coat then dry's flat!

Hmm, I was wondering whether to buy one of those towelling coats or maybe a net coat but never got round to it.  Maybe I will make them one out of a towel :)

My mum made one once, but gave up after that!!!  She just used a towle, cut abit to shape the neck.  Sewed together the frount when it's in half, and used ribbon to have ties round the body.  She's not very good with needle and thred and lacks alot of time so after that it was back to buying them! :)  They are a god send.  They are used after baths (normally night before show!) and then taken to the shows with us in the summer and can be soaked down and put on the dogs, and better then a towel, they stay on!  Wouldn't be without one, or 4!

Im not going to go that far making one, was just going to tie a towel round them :D :D

I will have to buy a couple of those coats - more expense
