not sure if there is anything that will help but.... lady Kisska seems to be nearing her 2nd season ( 1st 1 she became very moody and had a set 2 with other dogs for no reason and it died down soon after her season finished ) she is having the same symptoms again  nothing major Storm got the brunt of it 1st season Kira seems to be getting the brunt so far

my question is is there anything that any1 has tried or can recommend that would mellow her
make her less moody etc during her season?

A homeopathic remedy should help, probably Sepia. Go to www.ainsworths.co.uk and get their phone no and ring them. They will suggest a remedy, which wont be very expenisve ( under £10)  and if its given as directed will probably work and will do no harm. If it does work then you can keep the remedy and use it next time she comes in season. I would keep her seperate from any other dogs you have  if she is being aggressive, some bitches take an intense dislike to other bitches at this time and if they start fighting it could carry on after the season ends. If you also have a male she should be seperated from him too.
