My pointer is suffering from runny eyes & skin pustules on her tummy! She gets this every  year when the weather gets warmer! I've spent £££s on vet treatment but wonder whether her system will overcome this allergy as she gets older! She's now 3 years old. To cap it all she's now got a cut on her paw pad ----they say things come in threes!!! Does anyone get complaint with their dog (especially this happens when she runs through long grass!) Has anyone got any suggestions on how to avoid it (I know one would be "keep her out of the long grass!")lol Cheers Cheddar.

Our Shar Pei suffered with allergies this time of year and used to get sore pots of his skin.  We did limit his time over the fields for a while and when he was over there he wore a t-shirt.  If you try www.equafleece.co.uk they do a very good close fitting t-shirt which would cover her belly up.  Poor thing!

Hi sounds if its conected to the grass pollen, Hayfever, eczema.
My daughters cross staff has it every year. the only way she
can help releve it is bathing him constantly or putting him under the
shower to wash all the pollen off, you can not see.
He suffers real bad with it. He also has cream from the vet.
Some times, also has to have an injection.
The only way to help relieve it is to keep away from all grass
and fields. At this time of the year.

Regards
Denese
