There are 3 (i think!) JH books on the market. Two are out of date ( :D ) but could be usefull. ones by Jackie Hurley and the other by Felix cosme. the 3rd book, handling the wright way is the most recent but the book I don't own. Jackie hurley has also done a video however I shall not comment on her handling style! :)
You can get the books from most book stalls that appear at shows or try amazon or try your luck on ebay.
However reading from a book cannot teach you how to handle your dog, it can tell you what is expected of you, but nothing else. A book I find is best for "revision"
try and find a ringcraft class that specialises in Junior handling training. there are more and more appearing that will dedicate time and skill to juniors to help them.
The YKC does hold training days thoughout the year for Junior handling aswell as other disaplins.
The last point is watching. this can teach you alot and a skill often used in my training is I get the other juniors to watch and tell me where one handler goes wrong. It's amazing how watching someone's mistake can make you think "Oh I do that and it looks awful"
Good luck to your daughter. Always remember Junior Handling is fun, yes some take it seriously but it should be fun, enjoyable and a hobby between you and your dog! :D
