We are a British/New Zealand family with two daughters aged 11 and 3, resident in Bahrain, Middle East. We will be looking for a Beagle puppy (preferably a bitch) from September 2002 onwards. Although the climate here is obviously much warmer than in the UK, dogs raised here from pups live very happily and many of our friends own breeds such as labradors, golden retrievers, beardies and spaniels which they have brought from Europe and North America.
