Does anyone know what it might cost to get a jewellery box of rings etc valued for insurance purposes.

I think they take something like 1% of the value the jewellery comes back in at

Depends on a) the jeweller b) the jewellery.

Only certain jewellers are approved to value jewellery.

The best advice would be to approach one or two and they will give you a leaflet which explains what they do and they should also inform you of their charges.

WHen I had mine done it was free.
