The only time my litters get lose poo is when they need worming.  Obviously if it's really bad then best left a bit longer to see if it settles.  You say they are 2 weeks old now, have they been wormed yet?  this is the age for first time. This could be your under lying problem.

I strongly advise you NOT to worm puppies this young. and especially not  if they are loose. I would never worm pups until 21 days, no matter what my vet/other people advised, unless it was with Strongid paste. Even then 19/20 days is  young enough.

If they are 100% in every other way lively and happy and feeding well it could just be that they are a bit overfed. Some bitches are very generous with their milk and the pups are greedy. Make sure the bitch is 100% clean underneath after going for a walk. Are you supplememnting  with food yet - if so I would stop if the bitch has lots of milk.

If you are concerned then take them to the vet, dont take chances with puppies this young. Before you decide which wormer to use please do a search for "Panacur" on this site as it may influence you as to which ones to avoid for very young puppies.

Yes I did say if it was really bad then to leave it.  I have a litter 18 days old, when they got to 13 days they started getting looser, but it wasn't really bad, so I wormed them with Drontal Puppy and the very next day it settled down.  But I've had two vets opinions and both have said it's because they should be wormed at 2 weeks.

I suppose different people/vets have different views on this, but it's worked with all my litters in the past! ;-)

Can i just add, do what you feel best.

We wormed ours at 2 weeks with Panacur paste (shock horror!!) and not a single problem.

Even in the good ole days when we used piperazine citrate (i think) to worm, we done it at 2 weeks.

Thankyou everyone for your response, i do normally worm puppies for the first time at 2 weeks [they are exactly this today]and i have always used panacur paste with no problems, i will do a search on it though. I did wonder myself if mum's milk was a bit rich and they were overfeeding, they are 100% in themselves and piling on the weight, they are very forward & their eyes were open @ 8 days old.
