Ive had one crap day.. so sad and heartbreaking.
I attended the funeral of my daughters friend who sadly and tragically comited suicide.

Id like to send a card to the family saying that im sorry and that their daughter was a good friend to chanelle etc

But i dont know how... the words ive written are not enough

Any ideas?

Any words from your heart will be enough for them. They will find great comfort from people writing what a lovely person she was . Very sad for all concerned. :(

I always think it is tragic when somebody so young takes their life :( There was a lovely lad in our village who decided to throw himself under a train :( Nobody had a clue that he was feeling so desperate :(

Thank you for your replies

It is sad when they are so sad and desperate that they cant find a way out...
15 is far too young to die :(

Ive spent most of the day since going to the funeral close to tears and cannot even begin to wonder how her poor parents must be feeling.
I will write from the heart

My thoughts are with you. A year ago last november a friend committed suicide and as she went to her dads house in Birmingham to do it and he didnt know any of her friends no one here knew of her death till weeks after.

Tot he outside world she was a beautiful and inteligent woman but always picking the wrong man, sadly one of them duped her out of her house and she felt she had nowhere to turn.

At such times there is nothing that you can say that you will feel to be adequate but you thoughts will be much appreciated by her family who may well be suffering doubly in that they may be blaiming themselves for not spotting that their daughter was suicidal.
