I've just received an E-mail from Ho-seasons, which begins, "You're lucky! Lucky, that is, to live near to one of the most beautiful parts of England, with a glorious coastline, wild moorland scenery, and picture-postcard villages round almost every corner." Quite amazing, really, since I live in Northampton, one of its claims to fame being that you can't get much further away from the coast!:D :D :D

They may have mistaken Northampton for Southampton!!!

Well, if I really lived somewhere that fantastic, I wouldn't need to go on holiday, would I? So it's hardly likely to inspire me to rush to book a holiday with them... Perhaps..."you're so unfortunate, stuck on the 14th floor of a grotty tower block in xxxxxxinner-city....but now you have the chance to escape!" might be more effective - but of course, that's not true,either, I'm pleased to say - why on earth don't they just stick to straightforwardly promoting their holidays?
