Can anyone help?

my recycle bin looks like it has something in it (icon on desktop)
When i open the recycle bin there is nothing shown on the list - but
when i press empty recycle bin - it says 'are you sure you want to delete
windows?' well of course not lol but why is it in the bin and how do i get it
out if it is not listed?
Any ideas?

Just drag whatever is in the recycle bin onto your desk top - then you can see what it is!

When you look at the bin icon it looks full of paper like there is something in it but when you open it there is nothing there...?

Do a defrag, restart and see if its doing the same. If on xp then maybe a system refresh might do the trick but i would defrag first if not already done.
