Im new to the forum so i thought id say hi to all of you and make my self known.
Ive just bought my very first Great Dane! His a blue boy and as you can see from my name, ive named him blue. :)
His 5 weeks old today, so not got him home with me yet, but believe me i can not wait,
ive been to see him a couple of times and im going to visit again saturday then 2 weeks after that il be picking the little man up, not that he`ll stay little for long!
Ive always wanted one of these fantastic dogs so now that im now able to have one im over the moon!
Can guarantee he will be the first of many!

Hi Melissa, and welcome to CD.  I used to have a Dane some years ago but unfortunately lost her to a second attack of bloat.

I am sure you boy will give you many years of pleasure.  Would be grateful for a pic as and when

sorry to hear about the loss of your dane vicki, i know how it feels to lose a dog,
the golden retriever we had before the one we have now, we lost him in a road accident,
he was only 2. Devastating!
Im picking blue up on the 9th, he`ll be 8 weeks then, im sure my 2 year old will be in his element as well as me :)
I bet your as exited as me then sarah, we`ll have summer pups!
