Topic Dog Boards / Visitors Questions / I don't belive the nerve
- By Guest [gb] Date 17.05.05 13:36 UTC
Hi. I have just taken the final deposit on my Toy Poodle pups. I am still getting phone calls enquiring about them.  Yesterday a lady phoned me up and said that she had a female toy poodle and she would like to use my black male as a stud for her chocolate female.  She said it wasn't for profit, but she would like to keep one for herself and the others would go to her family. when I told her I wasn't interested she said she would be prepared to go to £50 if I did the travelling. (she lived 40 miles away) Again I told her a definate no.  This morning I received another call (definately the same person, she thought she was phoning somebody different this time) She said that she had a white female and would like to use my male for stud and she was poor so coudn't raise any money for stud fee and that any money raised was going to a cancer charity.  The nerve. she was suitabley embarassed when I informed her that she was speaking to the same person as yesterday. My good deed was last week when I recieved a call from a very distressed old lady who said she knew I had toy poodles. She said she had a male and she was going to sheltered housing and they wouldn't let her take him with her. She wondered if I might like him as she would like to imagine that he would live out his days (he's 11yrs old) having 'fun' with my female. (bless)  Unfortunately I coudn't take him in but I found him a good home.  My mum fell in love with him when she saw him. So for every time waster theres always somebody in need.

I Love this forum by the way and I am going to have a go at registering.
