We purchased a puppy (10 weeks old) recently, the sign at the pet store indicated she was a Lhasa Apso. When we started to go online to read more about this breed, we realized we had missed a very important detail to recognizing a Lhasa Apso, by it's tail. Our dog by all other physical features looks like a Lhasa Apso but she does not carry her tail high on her back or curly. She can have her tail up curled very slightly but the majority of the time she has it down or pointing straight out. Our quetion is if this changes with time or should all Lhasa Apso puppies have this characteristic from the time they are born?
Thank you,
Martha
