We are on day 61, her temperature had dropped at 8am on day 60 (about 36hrs ago) and is still the same, Has anyone had the same situation? Is this normal for the temperature to say low for this length of time without any signs of labour?

Pepsis temp went up again this afternoon so that just makes me wonder if it does before it all starts to happen.. She has just had a big gush of water so things are hotting up here.  Its so exciting and scarry.

hya Jules, how are things going your end.  Not long now if it has'nt happened yet.  My advise, try and get some sleep before she whelps.  I know this is hard but ou've got to make yourself time now.  How has her temp panned out today?

Her temperature dropped to what excactly? this is vital! It will go up & down a lot in the last week of pregnancy but when you see the *significant* drop she *WILL* go into 1st stages of labour within 24 hours.

Hi Pepsi mum , sorry for the delay with the update, I've only just go myself back together. It all started 11pm Sun. she started the restlessness and little panting, 3.30am waters broke 4am 1st puppy, 4.25am 2nd, 5.15am 3rd and 5.50 we had a forth puppy then everything stopped there were no more contractions. She had a scan at 5 weeks and there were defiantly 6 puppies maybe 8 or 9. I rang the vet and he said bring her down at 9am if there's no change, So we took her and they gave her an inj. to start her off again, just as we got home, another pup appeared leg first and was stuck for too long and died, straight after came another pup (she's o.k.) then everything stopped again, rang the vet and they gave her another inj. We stayed at the vets this time,  puppy no.6 was born, she had an x-ray and there was another that didn't want to come, we waited long as possible but she had to have a c-section, the unborn puppy was deformed with its intestine growing on the outside. She is dong fine now with the reaming 6 puppies, but I'm a bit worried about pup No.6 looks weak, it keeps wondering off on it's own and squealing. I'm keeping a close eye on it and making sure she has a drink.

Sorry to hear about all the problems you've been having.  It was bad enough when we lost a pup so I can imagine how stressed out you must be.  It's such a worrying time.  I'm so glad to hear the other six pups are doing well.  We have a small, little rather weak pup too but hopefully they'll pull round and catch up with the others. Never mind, all the fun starts here!! What kind of dogs do you have (sorry if I sound like a nosey so and so).  Well good night, I think we need to get some shut eye for a couple of hours at least.

Thank you for you support but I'm afraid my fun hasn't started yet things seem to be going from bad to worse, I lost puppy No6 early last night, I tried everything but it was all in vain I couldn't save it, I tried to tell my self it was natures way and hadn't done anything wrong, but I couldn't stop thinking it was my fault in some way. I rang the vet and took the remaining puppies for a check up, just so I could be sure it wasn't me! (better to be safe than sorry) The puppies were fine, (gave me some drops to be on the safe side) and I brought them home feeling allot better knowing that it's just natures way. Until I went back in to see them after having my dinner and puppy No4 was dead, I tried to revive her but she had already gone. Can some one please reassure me that these thing do happen for no apparent reason, because I'm feel so down and I'm scared that I might loose them all.

Please don't leave the bitch and pups.  A new Mum can easily sit on a puppy in her tiredness.  Eat your dinner in the same room!
I live on sandwiches, fruit, squash and flasks of coffee for the first 7-10 days when my pups are born.
