Looking for a wee bit advice, holly is on day 56 from her first mating and on day 52 from her last (hope i am making sense), and have noticed she is producing milk already today, is this normal for her to be producing milk at this time she is carrying a big litter anything from 6-8 puppies, i have never had a bitch do this before so early maybe noticed a few days before whelping or when they are having the pups, any advice would be appreciated, first litter for her.

Hi there, I wouldn't worry, all bitches are different, my bitch is on day 47 and she has already got milk, not huge amounts but just a bit.

Thanks for the reply Kerry, it is just a small amount of milk, i've made sure i've everything ready as getting very excited now
