Hi all i was not sure were to put this on, I am just about to mate one of the girls i bred myself it will be the first one i'm excited & worried at the same time, i have had all the health checks & all is clear, admin i have a waiting list for this pup's. how did you all feel when you bred one of our own.

Admin: the terms of service are very clear on this matter and the breed is not relevant to your post

I feel exactly the same as you, even though I've owned and bred my current breed now for 13 years.  I worry all the way through the pregnancy, during the birth, the weeks that follow and then the years that follow after that, hoping that all's OK :d  Though even through all this worrying it's worth it, especially as I have a fairly rare breed and get to see my dogs offspring for years afterwards.

You will have a waiting list as long as your arm having had all the health tests done & clear, we may or may not be looking for show puppy & we are having a real problem finding a breeder who does all the tests & screening, as you may remember we have a boy with asymptomatic SHM so any puppy we will get will be from parents who have all the health tests & screening done & clear, to date we haven't found anyone who has had a clear MRI scan let alone dogs that we like type wise. So well done on having got the all clear for your bitch you are very very lucky
