Hi
Wondering if any of you remember an article in the Sunday Express re a dog dying on its way to Sydney onboard a B A flight ? I am desperatly looking for information after another dog has died under strange circumstances on a similar flight. Or do you have any experience of this happening to you ? I would really appriecate any help
Thanks Lisa

Was it a 8 year old Border Collie that was being sent to Sydney from Cornwall as a surprise for the couples daughter after they emigrated there last year. I have just read about it and how the poor dog died of thirst on the long flight and BA are not accepting responsibility for it. :-(
Hi Anna
Thanks for your reply. I am not sure of the exact details but was told by friends that there has been an article in the paper. Any further info would be great as my sister's dog has recently died on a trip to Sydney, he was healthy and fit and we are still awaiting post mortem results as to why he died. They are moving out there to start a new life so to speak and cant believe what has happened. We are all very upset about this and are wondering why we were never told there apears to be a problem.
Thanks again

Hi Liseyboxa,
Really sorry to hear about you sisters dog :-(
If you go on askJeeves search engine and type Dog dies on BA flight to Sydney and click UK as opposed to Web and then it comes up with some flight offers and if you scroll down a bit you will come to a heading that says Beloved Dog dies on flight to Reunion and this is the article that you might be looking for.
Thanks Anna thats great, we are just finding out as much as possible until we have the post mortem results, which are taking there time and 2 dogs dying in a short space of time is a bit unusual as the risk is 2 in a thousand.
Thanks again
