i have a 14 month old dog who on meeting other dogs has the embarassing habit of cocking his leg on them and urinating has any one any ideas of how to control this problem

Presumably he does this whilst off the lead as it would be perfectly preventable whilst on lead.

If the other dogs objected, they would move away.

yes the main problem is when he is of the lead i have 4 other dogs 3 bitches and another dog who does not have this habit  the other dogs dont seem to mind the other time when he has managed to get to another dog who was not mine was on the beach we had taken him away for the weekend he ran straight up to this guy all friendly then wee'd on his dog
