I am seriously considering a leather sofa in a cream colour now what I am wondering is will this colour will get dirty any more quickly than any other colour. Bear in mind I have 4 spotties a beagle and 3 kids. Any opinions gratefully recieved before I cough up with the dosh!
As long as it's a decent quality leather, it shouldn't be a problem. I have 3 dogs and 3 children and a cream leather suite, looks as good today as the day we bought it, nice and easy to clean, it's great.
i wanted a cream leather suite for years and then i finally got one (big mistake),ive got 3 kids and a pack of dogs and i was forever cleaning it every bit of dirt and every small mark showed, and although it was easy to clean it seemed all i did was clean it and moan at the kids about it ,it just wasnt worth it in the end so now i have bought a chocolate brown one and its just sooooo easy compared to the cream one all i do is wipe it over once a week its great.
Just because you can't see the dirt, doesn't mean it's not there though........lol. ;-) I like to know my furniture is clean, so even if I had a brown one, I would still clean it every day!
I've got a brown one and a cream one :P
The cream one does show the dirt but cleans up easy...one thing to bear in mind is that it 'sucks' up dye ..my cushions had black suede backs and it stained the arms

The brown one has a dull finish to it so is harder to clean really but obviously marks don't show as much ;)
I have a cream leather suite, 3 dogs, 1 mucky husband, 1 mucky son. Amazingly I am not always cleaning it. (Maybe because I dont let them in the lounge only on special occassions). Do watch for jeans on the leather the blue dye comes out and the studs mark easily. I was told not to use cleaning sprays, damp cloths etc. only to use recommended products for leather or it will loose its moisture and crack. Go on go for cream. Caz
We had a cream sofa and an n season bitch...never again! it went straight in the bin, we now have a brwon leather and bitch confinement :)
I have cream leather.... and it's a nightmare to keep clean with 2 dogs and 2 kids.... it gets dirty really quickly.
I'd perphaps consider another colour.

LOL
Just look in your local free ads paper for leather suites - 90% of them will be cream

:D this isn't so bad - you could pick one up very cheap and not have to worry so much about it getting spoiled :D :D
My cream leather sofas are coming next week!
I am banning anyone from going in the living room unless they are under strict supervision!
We do have another sitting room so it isn't quite as cruel as it sounds ;)
Also the dogs will be barricaded out with a baby gate :D
I have a cream leather couch and it needs cleaning constantly, i'm going for a blue one this time or burgundy.
Warm regards

I have a cream one and wash it down once a week with non bio fairy and water. It takes all of 10 mins.
Just bought a second one this week for my extension it is cream also.
That is why I love leather as you can see any marks on it and clean it off properly. I would rather see what is on my suite than not see it . :-)))

Meant to say try and buy one more grainy as they are a bit tougher, if they are too fine they will scratch.
