i am looking for advise on what is best to feed my mastiff puppy. he is 10 weeks old. i have spoken to 2 different vets and they both give me conflicting advice! one says to feed a complete dry large puppy food, the other says not to! i have various books and they say to feed raw mince, fresh veg and fruit and also some dry food (moistened first). i was just following this but the vets are saying that it is wrong!! what should i do???? please help!! thanx in advance!

There are many different foods and feeding regimes and nobody can give a definitive answer to cover all dogs and situations, which you will see if you read the current threads on the "feeding" board. You would be best guided by your breeder to which foods are most suitable for your dog/breed or alternatively by long standing breeders and owners.
