Topic Dog Boards / Visitors Questions / Dodgy kennels?
- By Guest [gb] Date 04.05.05 20:11 UTC
I am a member of ebay and i a week or so ago i mentioned on one of the forums that i was looking for a kennels in my area as i'm going away in July for a few days.

Someone emailed me and said they had a kennels near me and what date did i require.
I told them this and they said yes fine they could fit her in and he offered a collection service , after i said could i visit 1st he said yes then emailed back to say they'd made a mistake and couldn't fit her in.

Obviously this is frightening to me now, he has no details off me other than my ebay id but i have his address and the detective in me wants to check him out does anybody know who i would contact?
Would it be the kennels area council to see if its registered?

Thanks.

Scarey...... i'm glad that you didn't agree to him collecting your dog..... this sounds like a scam.

I'd contact the council..... and if you have his address etc...maybe even the police.

Take care

Yes i admit that sounds very weird, some people would do anything to make a quick buck, i think the internet is where you will find most scam artests, if i were you i would try to find more out about him and report him. Some people dont even know what moral means.
