Hi, what is a good hipscore for a border collie? minnimum or maximum etc my friend has eventually found a litter and is hoping to get a blue and white pup, One parents 3:4 and the other 2:4 the parents are CEA clear and eye and hearing tested normal.

The current breed mean score for Border Collies is 13 and median 11. So both parents of these puppies are well below those figures. Excellent!!

Are they DNA tested for CEA? If not they can only be unaffected, not clear. Excellent hip scores though :-)

Unless there parents have been tested normal then they could be clear.there is a growing number of BC's that this applies to,even of breeding age. :)
