hi ,our 3 year old peke is currently in the vets with a bad back they have taken xrays and have found he has swelling around the vertabrae mid back and lower down it seems to be fused!he has been put on a course of steroids but if they dont work he will have to be referred to a specialist for a myelograph and possible op.this is our 4th peke and although we our aware they can suffer from back problems,it has never occured with the others.if anyone has any experiance of this , especially regarding the success of an op then any info would be gratefully received.many thanks
