would be very grateful for any info on when i should get my mini his first clipping, hes only   4 months old, but getting a wee bit on the scruffy side............thanks

I would suggest the sooner the better. Get him used to going to the groomers even if clipping is only minimal to begin with. At least it gets him used to going, and having work done on him. You can't start too young :)

why not visit a few groomers in your area ask to see work they have done or if you can visit on a day when they have a mini schnauzer in then you can see what you get if you choose them,are you close by your breeder,they may clip them for you
