Hi again.....

just one more thing i need a little help on, my collie cross wants to run after cars when i walk her,
is like she wants to play chase with them, she gets all exited an pulls at the lead in order to chase... its very annoying as we live in a built up area with lots of traffic, any ideas?

Erm ... she's got collie in her, yes? Collies have been specially bred, over very many generations, to round up moving objects ... having done all the obvious breed research, what did you expect?

As jeangenie said collies are very much like that, the ones on the farm would round up anything they came across. we would be jumping the horses and they would be nipping the horses pasterns as they landed, definitely a countryside animal i'm afraid with loads of energy.  Thats why when you are getting a dog it's best to do loads of research to see which dog fits into your life style i personally dont like highley strung dogs so i would go for a layed back one.
