my bitch is 6 weeks pregnant and i noticed today she has a green mucus like discharge coming from her vulva she is well other than this

get to the vets ASAP! this is not good!

It shouldn't be green, do what discuss Dave has said and take her to the vets. It sounds like an infection and she may need antibiotics.

Green discharge is not good in a pregnant bitch, get her to the vet URGENT!  Hopefully it's only an infection, but it may be a lot worse!

I thought your bitch had already whelped, do you mean she has a six week old litter, if so then bitches can have a discharge for a few weeks after wheelping.  If it is unpleasant smelling though it could be an infection and you need to see the vet. :D

I think the litter is only 4 weeks old.  this maybe is different one.

I would see the vet..

just to let you know it turned out that it was a phantom pregnancy with an infection. The vet did an x-ray and could see no puppies atall. He has given her antibiotics. he said to watch her incase of mastitus.

He also said the cause of the phantom was probably because my other bitch had a litter which brought this on.
