Just checked my passes for Birmingham national....I should have 1 dog entered in junior and 2 in limit. What's on the passes?...3 in limit!!!! Phoned the printer....turns out I put the wrong class no's against the wrong dogs and tried to put my 4 year old into JNR!! and my 15 month old into limit!!
Outcome is they moved the 4 year old into limit and left the other 2 in the classes they were entered for....am I dumb or what!
I now have 3 dogs in limit...one of which is an imature 15 month old...and only 2 handlers!!

:d :d  I don't know whether I've entered correctly either.  I put my Pom. in for minor puppy bitch which is correct as it's her first show and then I'm sure that I entered the puppy stakes but it comes up with a totally different name on the entry form!  Though there again I think that there's about 130 dogs entered in this class so I've got more of a chance winning the lottery than mad Mella winning this class :d

LOLOL Thats why I like to enter on line as you get to see what classes your dog can go in & before you pay to can check again, bit naughty of the printers as they should have left the older dog in Junior & he should have been transferred into open not limit !at the show, or they could have contacted you & checked the classes(which is what I would have done as a show sec)

I've started using on line entries....don't know why I decided to enter this one by post.I spoke to the shows secretary and she said I could transfer the incorrectly entered dog into open if I wanted since thats where he should have been put. However I'd prefer to leave him in limit since thats where he should have been and just find a handler for Frankie....someone with steel gauntlets preferably!!! :d

Unfortunately he takes after his daddy who leaves his handler with bleeding fingers everytime he leaves the ring....maybe he just likes sauce on his titbits!!.

You could try using a feeding stick like they do giving some big cats meds in the zoos etc ;)

If you can't find a handler Nikki I will if you like (trouble to find someone who isn't judging within next year in the breed).

Well we ended up transfering the incorrectly entered dog into open so I had 1 in open and 2 in limit. We didn't do too badly with 2 reserves and a second.Must admit when my 15 month old got pulled out for reserve in limit after having played up something chronic for my daughter you could have knocked me over with a feather!...I can only put it down to a bit of sympathy from the judge cos he was a total little s**t and IMO completely out of his depth!

Or the judge saw something in him - you never know Archer these judges can be cleverer than they look you know ;)

Well done Karen
