When the dog gets on and off fast can this result in pregnancey?  I thought the dog had to thrust hard at first to clear the vaginal tract then the sperm comes next, if this is so how can a dog get pregnant by a slip mating if the sperm needs to be prepelled along?  any info would be great

Yes, it can (and does) result in pregnancy. The chances of conception are somewhat less, but are a very real possibility. A dog can ejaculate after two or three thrusts, and as long as there is sperm in the vagina ...

An over-eager dog can release a lot of that before entering the bitch. In a normal mating resulting in a tie the sperm has been released within the first minute.
