Well, my friends ups and downs of this weekend.

We went to HPR Club of Scotland yesterday and my friend got BPIB at her very first show with her very first show dog. He was 6 months old on Friday!

Today, Sunday, we went to Perthshire Canine Club open show where she tripped over her pup and landed chest first on the concrete floor. 2 1/2 hours later she came back from A+E with a broken wrist and several cracked ribs. What a christening! All she was worried about was that she hadn't upset the dog. I think she'll do well as a dog owner ;)

OMG

I hope she's OK! and the pup!   If she's survived that she'll survive the ups and downs of showing - everything else pales into insignificance ;)

This is my nightmare, that I'll trip over the dog and hurt it - in front of everyone   Its how I keep calm, as long as I don't trip and hurt the dog everything else is a bonus!!

Oh dear the poor thing.  I once talked someone into taking their dog to a working trial and they did exactly the same thing as well and they were doing so well up until that point!!

We had our bred club Champ show on Saturday.  One of the exhibitors came home to find that while their grown up daughter had gone to the pictures that Burglard had taken advantage of the fact that all the dogs were at the show and they had been burgled!!!

Friend is now VERY bored. She can't go anywhere as she can't drive her car with one hand. Having driven it on Sunday I'm surprised she can drive it at all  I'll just have to go and visit her tomorrow (day off) and take her out for lunch, or something. ;)
