Does anyone else's dog do that mad thing with empty plastic flowerpots?  Molly has been outside this morning putting her nose in them, tossing them up in the air, throwing them across the patio, all accompanied by yelps of excitement.  She's got a big box of dog toys, but a flowerpot is by far her favourite!

Yes my ten month old pup has several plant pots all different in sizes that he loves to frolic with. he has done this from being a young pup of 5wks old none of my others seem interested in the plant pots,

We used to have a springer, and he was obsessed with my sister's 'My Little Pony' bucket (the type you would take to the beach with a spade!), he would do as you say put his nose in it, chuck it around and try and catch it, but it would make such a noise we used to take it off him and hide it, but he always found it again!

Yep my Archie loves them too... he's only 13 weeks!

He also loves using the little dish under the flowerpots as a frisbee! :)

Harriet, my lab cross, used to love flower pots - they were known as 'Poo's Pots' (her nikname was Poo!) and she played with her favourite right up until her last few days - it usually involved taking it in her mouth, so it covered her nose (and we must assume her eyes) and she would prance around the garden like a dressage horse gone mad!

My boys love flower pots, the thing is they love to empty the plants out of them first

I was just going to say the same - my younger dog ONLY played with FULL pots when she was a pup :D

yes,Annie our 13 month old lab loves them,in fact she has ripped 3 up today,she has also been known to bring them inside with the compost and flowers and emtied them all over the lounge,she has had loads of fun today as we have trying to tidy the garden up spent more time chasing her around.

Yes, our new pup (7 weeks) does that and he won't let any of his litter mates take it away from him LOL

LOL at Digger - My rottie girl who's 2 prances round the garden with the pot over her nose and eyes, head in the air bumping into everything and knocking everything over, I think the bumping about bit is part of the fun for her!  She has unfortunately emptied most flower pots to play with though!
