I have been told that if you supplement your pet's diet (cat or dog) with Aloe Vera it could lengthan their potential life span....Any thoughts

Cheers

My thoughts are do you sell it Jacq???? 'Cos if you do, then you ought to declare your interest. :)

There are many claims for Aloe Vera

I don't administer it to my dogs orally but I do use it for the skin, it is excellent for healing.  I am, however, more than a little sceptical about its efficacy when ingested.

Hi, i give my dogs Aloe Vera  every day in there food , i also take it myself. It is very good for the digestive system, skin, hair and nails . One of my dogs suffers alot with his gut, and i find he is much better when he takes Aloe Vera. I also use the Gelly for any cuts, bruises or rashes on the skin

has anyone else found their dogs smell abit (skin) after using it?

I havent noticed that (mine are long coated, so may make a difference, and I use the gel on skin irritations etc)  Could he/she be licking at it and the saliver making the smell?
