i have a golden retriever bitch and I would like to breed her in her third season, approx. mid September. Is there a stud dog available in Yorkshire, or, a breeding kennels in yorkshire where I can have my bitch mated ? she could stay in a breeding kennels if this was required. please e-mail  davidsmudger49@hotmail.com

Hi David, may I say that you really ought to be looking for the best stud dog, not the nearest. There is alot more to choosing a suitable stud than where he lives. My best suggestion is to contact the breeder of your bitch and ask their advice. It is also neccessary to have the bitch hip scored and eye tested, and breed only on receipt of very good results.

And it is not a good idea to let your in season bitch "stay at a breeding kennels" You should be on hand to supervise.
