just met a lovely staffie in town. he was 5months,huge,leggy (irish type?). he belonged to some homeless people,but he was lovely & made friends with flynn. :)

I am sure that you will many more nice staffies in the future, they are a lovely breed if brought up well...

Im glad you had a nice experience as most of them are such wonderful dogs, I love the piggy noises they make or maybe thats only the ones I have met.

i initated the meeting etc. said it was a gorgeous dog & if he was friendly could flynn say hello

thats the best way to do it, talk to the owner first and then its lovely when the two dogs play. Remember you're helping improve the breed's reputation by doing this, so we're all very grateful. I bet the Staff owner was chuffed as well probably made their day

i thought it would be good for the staff too. Flynns really friendly,but hes a cocky, full of himself ,intact male dog,so i thought if the staff could have some good experinces that would be  good too

exactly, I let Giorgia meet as many different dogs as possible, one Sunday morning we went down the beach, she loves the water, and she played with 7 different dogs, it was amazing to watch. It also meant I had a peaceful rest of Sunday cos she was shattered all day.

ha ha I know what you mean Coleystaff. When I take Pepper out round the fields and he plays with the other dogs and has a good run it means that when we get back I can relax for a bit while he sleeps it off!!!

well done michelled as ive read a few of youre posts and even though youve had bad experinces with a couple of staffs youve always stuck up for them :) and as for flynn playing with the staff i bet you were well chuffed just hope you meet plenty more friendly staffs out there which there are plenty :)
