hi my pointer has pressure points in the form of patches of hair missing and skabby areas on his elbows. is this common and can they get marked down by this in pointer classes? if so is there any way i can heal and prevent this?

What surface does he have in the areas he commonly sleeps?  I doubt hair will grow back again, but you could stop them getting worse by providing a surface such as Vet Bed for him to sleep on.........
