i have been emailing a man in cameroon who has some chihuahua pups for sale.he says he has a shipping license but im worried that it is a scam and i will send the money and not recieve my pup.
does anyone have any experience of this or knowledge as it would be a big help
thank you

I have to say that I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole but thats just me :)
I am also interested in this as we are looking for a chihuahua and there seem to be very few around. I went to view one yesterday which was perfect but they wanted nearly £2000 for her which we thought was a lot and out of our price range.
I would stay well clear too! Get yourself on the waiting list of a breed club-recommended breeder and be patient as the demand far exceeds the supply of Chi's at the moment, that seems the best advice! :)

No dont touch it, theres so many scams around at the moment involving pets.Where abouts are you in the country ?
We are in Bucks but will travel almost anywhere. the breeders I have spoke to say they have such small litters that they keep at least one pup and they all have waiting lists.

Will keep my ears open for you.

it depends if you want smooth or long coat,i think it was long coat where there are some on www.the-kennel-club.org.uk
Why on earth would anyone want to ship a pup from cameroon when you can get them here??

Even if it was genuine (which I very much doubt) don't forget about the 6 months quarantine (in both time and financial cost). You'd be much better off going on waiting lists here - it'd be cheaper for a start.
