Topic Dog Boards / Feeding / feeding my bullmastiffs

We have 2 young bullmastiffs ( one aged 5 months and the other age 14 weeks)
We are feeding them on Beta dry food and adding Pedigree tinned food to their meals, as they wont eat the dry food on its own.Sometimes we give the eldest one pet mince or tripe. Does anyone think that the meals are too rich for them or are we feeing them ok?? ( they sometimes have upset stomachs, but are not ill in any way.)

You will get as many opinions as there are dog foods, probably more!

If they were mine I would probably opt for Burns dry or Naturediet wet, however it would be quite expensive probably to feed dogs of your size on the latter.

Bear in mind if you are giving meat/tripe you may be upsetting the calcium:phosphorus ratio which is quite important.

It might be worth considering a good quality complete  food that is more appetising
