Hi,

Have I missed any news on poor Emma and Douglas following their appointment with the specialist yesterday?  I can't find an update.

Hope things are improving.

Jackie - Douglas was attacked by the cat and has a bad injury to one of his eyes.  I think Emma was taking him to a specialist yesterday afternoon.

Oooh I missed it too, :(
Sincerely hope that Douglas is ok and that his eye gets better soon.
Hope you are insured Emma to help with the cost of vet treatment.

I'm still going with eye treatment on my oldest Boxer Misty...
She got her eye injured when playing with a ragga, caught it full in the eye :(
I was out showing the youngest at Maidenhead DCS open show...it was all the OH's fault!!
It took over 5 weeks for the ulcer to heal and we are still battling with the inflammation
we are now just down to steroid drops twice daily.
Cost well over £500 now and still going (but worth every penny) especially when the vet told me she thought
at one stage she might have to remove her eye :(
Poor moo not only her eye injury but now got mammary lump & now phantom so she can't have lump removed
until her phantom stopped.

Kind Regards
Kirstine

Hi Kirstine i know im going off original post but one of my girls is being treated for a corneal ulcer due to a accident with a branch my vet has been treating the ulcer with Tiacil drops and they have worked wonders ulcer almost gone and no signs of infection.
Just a thought if you havent tried these drops maybe you could perhaps mention them to your vets.
