I've just had my working cocker back at the vets to have his anal glands emptied again-after only having them done 3 weeks or so ago. :(  (only notice he needed them done again when he jmped up on my lap and left a nice sample for me on my trouser leg..)  His stools have all been fine but obviously have not been bulky enough for him, so am going to have to go back to adding fibre to his diet again.  My vet mentioned that it might be easier to add a supplement to his food, either the Pro-Fibre as I already use probiotics with them all and it would be a convenient way to add the extra fibre at the same time or another product, Nutrifyba, just the added fibre content.  Does anyone have any experience of either of these products?

Can you not just add vegetables?  Much cheaper and great source of fibre............

I do already.  And fruit.  And bones for extra "roughage".  And bran added to his Burns and Naturediet, but he is less keen on this.  And Tree Barks powder.  Therefore my vet and I are out of other ideas hence the suggestion of the added fibre that can be easily mixed in with his food.  :)
