Just had a 4 month Newfie join our family-anyone have one and if so can you offer any advice about them?  She is doing great so far-only two accidents (our fault not hers) and will let us know when she wants out.  Already seems very protective of the grandbaby who is 2 1/2.  All we have to say is "watch the baby" and she sits next to her.  Only problem so far is when the baby plays with her own toys.  She has a stroller for her doll and when she pushes it the dog goes crazy.  She gets between her and the stroller and pushes it aways from her and barks at it and bites at the wheels.  Any obidence training suggestions?  Thanks in advance for the help.

There are a few people on here with newfs, so you have company. I have 2 a Lanseer male that is now 10 years old and a 5 year old female called Megan, my daughter has a 5 month old puppy from my last litter. Mine still behave like puppies, good luck
