my car tommorow, its a 53 plate and Ive bought one 13 years old for £250 from work. The one I have is just not praticle for a dog Citroen C2. Now Douglas can travel in comfort, but no style.

But Emma, dogs don't CARE about style :)

My lot haven't got a classy bone in their bodies :D :D You'll miss your car, but Douglas will make up for it though ;)

Goodbye Emma's car!
Practical is always best when it comes to dogs and cars. We were lucky ours is big enough to take a crate in the back so we didn't have to change it. I would have been devestated if I had to change it so I know what you are going through.

Well at least I wont get nervous parking the vehicle in car parks, just incase somebody dents it. Or get  upset with half a field inside the car. But going down to a 1 litre and 4 gears is going to be tough.

I upgraded from a fiesta to a focus for leo and other reasons but he has a harness on the back seat so no need to fit a crate - the car is 52reg the old one was Y - still looks like a kennel as does our 03 mondeo - leo has no problem with wiping his muddy wet self all over them but hes far more important than the car so i couldnt care less that it looks like a kennel - a vacuum fixes that lol

You should see my car :d  An R reg. Astra hatchback !!!  The Spanish love to go swimming and then dive on the back seat and dry themselves !  My friends think it's terrible but the dogs love it.

Its going to be my work horse. Think me and the pup will be wearing shades, due to embarassment. I know snob.lol.

My old dog had a thing about Land Rovers and used to jump in the back if anyone left them open.

I have a partly sighted springer who hates cars but if he see's an old  landrover and hes in like a shot, why is this.

Whats the new car Em? and what are you going to call her or is she a he? I name my cars don't you?

He's a springer Sandie and loves the smell of the countryside, rabbits, pheasants and all that!  Landrovers usually smell of nice things like that.  My dog sees one and thinks 'work' aka fun!!
