Hi,
I have a 7 month old Dobermann dog. I am hoping to go on holiday in June for a week.
I think I am going to have to put him in kennels for the week - my mum will be looking after her 4 dogs my 2 cats and my young Min Pin puppy who will be 3 months old by then. She thinks the Dobermann will be just too much for her to handle.

I am a bit worried about putting him in kennels for a whole week. I work from home and have never been away from him for more than 6 hours since I got him. Also given his age - will going into kennels affect him in any detrimental way?

I think Im looking for a bit of reassurance and some recommendations of good kennels in the Cheshire / Manchester area.

Any advice gratefully received.
