Can you help.

I recently saw an innovative dumbell but can't find where to buy it. The lady that had it couldn't remember where she got it and its not on any of the millions of dog sites that I've tried!

It has flat wooden ends, sort of an roundish/octagon shape, with a yellow/orange ribbed hard plastic middle. Apparantly when bought, it had two small pieces of rope attached to the ends with small rubber balls on, so the dog wouldn't shake the dumbell. The lady I saw had taken the rope/balls off and was just using the dumbell.
I've looked everywhere ?

i was at a ob show in north wales & i think the lady with the shop/stall is called something like ,jans one stop dog shop, or something like that
not very helpful i know

Could you just not teach the dog not to shake anything?

I think putting hanging rubber balls on the end would encourage mine to shake it.

The reason that I would like the dumbell is not that my dog shakes anything else, I would chop the strings/balls off anyway!
I tried the one I saw at the weekend with my younger dog and he much preferred it to any of my dumbells at home.
  It may have been that it was someone elses one (you always want someone elses toys!).but, he really seemed to like it, maybe the grooved middle section gave him something more to grab hold to. My own DB's are a selection of wood, plastic, string wrapped, metal ones, plastic and wood.
If the worse come to the worse, I might make one, but my DIY skills aren't up to much!
