I live in Valencia Spain and am looking for a Fox Terrier Wire for my daughter. i have been living in spain for over 15 years and have not had a dog since leaving england (my dog stayed at the family home ) something i decided i would leave until i had children. i have a 7 year old daughter who loves dogs and has pleaded with me that we look for a good friendly / family dog. we have a small apartment but with a 30metere square outdoor terrace ( our roof garden ) and plenty of beach to run him on. unfortunately we cannot spend the kind of money we have seen and we are hoping that if wait patiently someone may be able to offer us a fox terrier wire pup for adoption. he would be welcomed into a happy family and would be well trained and cared for and perhaps have a future generation here in Spain!!  we would naturally pay for all of the vet and passport fees along with his travel requirements. if available here in Valencia or Spain, i could pay some kind of fee for the dog depending on location.
my first dog as a child was a fox wire and he was the perfect dog for me and my 2 sisters. fun to play with and mischevous !!
after that we took in 2 dogs from the RSPCA and i would do the same here ( unfortunately the spanish abandon pets too easily ) but, it is her first dog and she has her eyes set on a fox wire since she saw pictures of my first dog. i know it is a good choice for my family that will soon grow as my wife is due to have our second child in may !!  if you can help me please e-mail > cdbrady_1963@hotmail.com < or call (0034) 669 864688.

If you're looking to rescue a wire fox terrier, you can contact Lee England on 01923 268140 or 01366-328826, or email lee@lee-england.com, or contact Hazel Bradford on 01494-713665.  They are both involved in WFT rescue.  I'm not sure how easy it would be to take a rescue over to Spain though, and bear in mind that after vaccinations/chipping/pet passport etc. it could end up costing much more than the current price of a WFT pup.
