Can you please advise if you will have any litters this year. My wife, daughters and I recently had to have our golden retriever put to sleep due to epilepsy and we are currently thinking of having another dog.
We love the retriever breed and hope our next dog will be a flat coat.
We would prefer a black haired dog but would also be interested in a liver haired dog.
I would be grateful for a response either by email esg1@killi.fsnet.co.uk or phone on 01268 690335.
Please help as our house seems very empty.
Many thanks

You should telephone Shirley Johnson on 01638 718231. She is the Flatcoated Retriever Society Official Litter Secretary and all puppies available on her books will come from breeders who have bred according to the Society Code of Ethics.
It is a very busy line so you may not get through immediately. Also (she asked me to say this) let the phone ring for a long time as she may be in the garden.

hi, having owned both golden and flat coats they are nothing alike, Just so you know the temperiment of the flatty is similar to that of a setter in contrast to the laid back goldie, they aren't called the peter pan of the dogworld for no reason lol our Kira is nuts when a ball is around.
