I have just bought a Pomeranian.  I hae read they are best groomed by a breeder.  Where do I find breeders in London which would do this.

They are best groomed EVERY DAY by you, but a breeder can show you haow to do it properly.  Ideally your breeder should ahve done this at the time you bought your pup.  Rign them and arrange a date for them to show you.

A Pomeranian is fairly easy to do, but never ever take it to a groomer unless they are an expert in this breed.  I have seen many Pom's in the South clipped with a lion clip !!!!!!!!  They should never ever be clipped, shaped by scissors yes, but never clipped.

The Pomeranian should look like a Pom Pom, all rounded.

If you e-mail me at spanishwaterdogs@supanet.com  I will try and explain to you how it is done :d

Never let anyold groomer touch your pom. You will find most of them rip out the undercoat which is part of the dogs coat which makes it stand out from the body. The idea with a pom is to cut it round in a circle from back to front. There is a vidio out which was done by Carl Sparrow and how to groom your pomeranian and it is a step by step guide and is very very good.
