Hello I have a nine month old Pedigree Parson Russell pup, she is a delight. I am a real dog person, love many breeds, showing, working, agility, etc, but I am the only person that i know like this. I would like to meet up with other doggie people especially those with Parsons, are there any club meetings or anything of the sort going on?. I am a member of the Parson russell club and live in the West Midlands, I also have a four year old daughter who would have to come with me to the meeting -would this be a problem?

I have always been curious about Parson Russell Terriers. Are they wire haired and Jack Russell Terriers being the smooth haired variety? Am I correct in saying this?

No, they're different breeds - only the Parson Russell (the longer-legged variety) is KC recognised.

Hi there Guest!  I own (or owned by should I say!)/show/breed Parson Russells and working-type Lakelands and have done for about 11/12 years!  Did you know the Parson Club has it's club open show this Sunday at Littleworth Village Hall, Norton, nr. Pershore, Worcs?  Great time to meet up with other Parsonites!!
